1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and LetMeMeet (“LetMeMeet”, “we”, “us”), a service run by its founder from India. They cover your use of letmemeet.com and the LetMeMeet notetaker. By creating an account or using LetMeMeet, you agree to them, and to our Privacy policy.
You must be at least 18 and able to make a binding agreement. If you use LetMeMeet for an organisation, you confirm you may agree to these terms for it.
2. What LetMeMeet does
LetMeMeet sends a notetaker to the online meetings you choose (Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Webex). It records the audio, writes a transcript, and uses AI to write notes, put action items on your board, remember the people and projects you meet, and answer your questions.
LetMeMeet is new and changes often. We may add, change or remove features, and we will tell you before a change that takes away something you pay for.
3. Your account
You sign in with your Google account. Keep it secure: what happens in your LetMeMeet account is your responsibility. If you think someone else is using it, tell us at hello@letmemeet.com.
4. Recording and consent
Recording people is your responsibility. Laws about recording conversations differ from place to place, and in many places everyone must agree to be recorded. When you send the notetaker to a meeting, you must:
- tell everyone in the meeting that it is being recorded and transcribed;
- get any consent the law requires before or as the notetaker joins;
- not send it to meetings you are not allowed to record, for example because of the meeting’s own rules, a confidentiality duty, or the meeting app’s terms;
- remove the notetaker, or stop it, if someone objects.
To help, the notetaker joins under the name “LetMeMeet Notetaker (recording)”, and someone in the meeting has to let it in.
5. What you may not do
- record anyone unlawfully or secretly, or use LetMeMeet to harass, deceive or harm people;
- upload or record content you have no right to, or that breaks the law;
- break, overload, probe or reverse-engineer LetMeMeet, or get around its limits (for example, by opening several free accounts);
- resell LetMeMeet, or give others access to your account, without our written OK;
- use LetMeMeet in a way that breaks the terms of Google, Zoom, Microsoft or others.
6. Your content
Your recordings, transcripts, notes, board and everything you add are yours (“your content”). You let us store, copy and process your content only to run LetMeMeet for you and keep it secure, including through the providers listed in our Privacy policy. We do not use your content to train AI models.
You confirm you have the right to record and upload your content. If another LetMeMeet user is in the same meeting, they get their own copy of its transcript and notes.
7. AI can be wrong
Notes, tasks and answers are written by AI. They can be incomplete or wrong, and they are not legal, financial, medical or other professional advice. Check anything important against the transcript before you rely on it.
8. Plans, payments and cancelling
- Free. You can try LetMeMeet with the free meetings shown on our Pricing page. No card needed.
- Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly, at the price shown on the Pricing page when you subscribe, and include a monthly allowance of recording hours. Hours reset each month; unused hours don’t carry over.
- Paddle. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle’s buyer terms apply to your payment.
- Taxes. Paddle adds VAT, GST or sales tax where the law requires.
- Renewal. A subscription renews automatically each month or year until you cancel.
- Cancelling. Cancel at any time in Settings → Billing. You keep your paid plan until the end of the period you paid for; then you move to the free plan and keep all your meetings and notes.
- Price changes. We tell you at least 30 days before a new price applies to your subscription, so you can cancel first if you want.
- Failed payments. If a payment fails and can’t be collected, your account moves to the free plan: new recordings stop, and your data stays.
- Refunds follow our Refund policy.
9. Other services
LetMeMeet works with services we don’t control, like Google, Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Recall.ai. Their own terms apply to your use of them. If one of them changes or stops working, a LetMeMeet feature may stop too, and we will do our best to restore it.
10. Ending your account
You can stop using LetMeMeet at any time and delete your account in Settings → Account. That deletes your meetings, notes, board and memory, and cancels any subscription.
We may pause or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, or to prevent harm. Where we can, we tell you why first and give you a chance to fix it. If we ever shut LetMeMeet down, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice to save your notes, and refund the unused part of any yearly plan.
11. No guarantees
We work hard to make LetMeMeet reliable, but it is provided “as is”. We can’t promise it will never be interrupted, that the notetaker will get into every meeting (for example, if nobody lets it in, or a meeting app changes), or that every word will be transcribed correctly.
12. Limits on liability
As far as the law allows, LetMeMeet is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost business or lost data. Our total liability for any claim about LetMeMeet is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50 if you haven’t paid anything.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or takes away rights you have as a consumer.
If someone makes a claim against us because you recorded them without the consent the law requires, or otherwise broke these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of that claim.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we email you at least 14 days before it applies. If you don’t agree, you can cancel and delete your account before then; if you keep using LetMeMeet afterwards, the new terms apply.
14. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India decide any dispute. If you live in a country whose consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim at home, you keep that right. Before going to court, please write to us; most problems are solved faster that way.
